Voices from recent commissions

After my father passed, we found a hardware wallet but no coherent notes. I commissioned a record book for my own holdings so my daughter would not face the same silence. The heir section templates ask plain questions—where is the steel plate, who has the second key—that I had never thought to write down.

Park Ji-woo spent the consultation marking which of my index cards were redundant and which contradicted each other. I did not bind a full book immediately; the session alone saved me from duplicating backup locations in three places.

Our workshop group included my spouse and my brother, who each had different labeling habits. We aligned on a shared prefix system for wallet names. The workbook is now the reference when we add a new cold storage device.

— Soo-yeon and Dae-hyun P., Workshop Session, 2025

The binding survived two humid summers in my Haeundae apartment before I moved the volume to a drier storage site. Rebinding restored the spine without losing my verification log entries. Courier return packaging was thorough.

— André V., Rebinding & Replacement, 2024

I appreciated the acid-free paper weight and the slipcase. The gold foil on the spine feels formal enough for an estate binder. I would have liked a slightly larger margin on the heir flowchart pages for handwritten additions.

Case note: three-city backup map

A client held backups in Busan, Seoul, and a family property in Jeju. Their original notes listed box numbers without city context. During a documentation session we introduced a location grid: city, container type, last verified date, and which wallet labels the container references.

The bound volume included a single-page map with color-coded tabs matching physical labels on each container. The heir section referenced the same color codes. Six months later the client reported completing a verification round in under an hour because the ledger matched how they had labeled the physical boxes.
